What Value this Report will bring to your Business : 

  • Displays on-hand inventory quantity and value at any point in time.
  • Visibility of inventory across all stores. 
  • Able to track item which are on the purchase order.

Note : The overall total displayed at the bottom of the report is for the items displayed on the screen only. To display more rows use the filters to increase the number of results.

How to view the Inventory Summary Report :

Inventory summary can be viewed from two different ways.

1.      Manage inventory and click on inventory summary.


2.      Under reports, inventory and product reports, user can access inventory summary.

Note: The above stats show the value of all inventory for the current store only.

Report Features

A.    FILTERS

The Inventory Summary Report comes with different filters to make it easy for you to filter data according to your requirements. You can filter data Store Wise and Date Wise to get information about a specific store for a particular date range. Follow the steps below to filter the report.

Store Filter

Use select store filter to view data for a particular store. You can select multiple stores at the same time.

  

Date Filter

By default, the report will open according to current date, the user can check inventory for a specific selected date. (not date range) 


Note: Value of inventory in previous date can be checked through this report by applying date filter.

Select Criteria 

A user can search a specific item by its Category, SKU, serialsManufacturer, and Device

Note: If the user selects a manufacturer and then moves to device selection, the devices will be based on the manufacturer selected earlier.


User can add multiple criteria by selecting from the Drop-down. You can multi-select manufacturer on basis of which devices will be filtered out.


The user can press reset in order to Reset report.

 

B.    COLUMNS

The report has been divided into multiple columns. The details of each column is explained below.

1.      Store Name

This column shows the list of all available stores of your business.

2.      Manufacturer

This column show the manufacturer attached to the item.

3.      Device

This column show the Device attached to the item.

4.      Category

This column show the item category attached to particular product.

5.      Product Name

This column shows the Product name .

6.      SKU

If SKU (Default SKU) exist against item then it will display here in this column.

7.      On hand

Total quantity of the item on hand is displayed here in this column.

8.      Average cost price

Average cost price will display here, in case of serialised inventory (cost of each serial divided by total number of serial is equal to the average cost for serial)

9.      Total value

Total quantity multiply with total on hand equal total value of the stock.

10.  On PO

This show that how much quantity user has ordered for purchase.

Q.How inventory summary report works?
A.
Inventory summary report shows the current inventory and total value of that inventory.User can check the value of inventory for specific date. 
Note: the report is deployed on 2nd Nov 2018. You can inquire the system from 2nd Nov onward. If the report will be generated for 1st Nov 2018 or backdated from 2nd Nov 2018 - no data will be displayed.

Q. Can I search item by its serial?
A. yes item can be searched through the serial but the inventory summary for all the serials or product will be displayed on that specific store where that product serial exist.


Upon clicking View serial you will able to view all the serials created for that product
