How to create a new ticket from manage tickets
In order to create a new ticket, go to manage tickets section and click on the create ticket button.
Create a new ticket from scratch
- Search for repair parts using the search bar (try to search by barcode, name, item ID, serial, SKU, or UPC).
- The selected part will be displayed in the listing and you can edit or delete those part by clicking on the three dots dropdown menu.
- To add new repair or special part, click on the Add Part button, which will display two options: Add Part and Add Special Part.
After attaching the part to the ticket, click on the next button to fill out the further details for the ticket.
In this detail section, we have segregated the information based on the following
Ticket Details
- Select the ticket status
- Select the task type
- Select the assignee for the job
- Select the due date
Asset information
- Select the physical location (where you will put the device)
- Add the pattern/pin of the device (if customer provided to you)
- Add IMEI/Serial of the device
Diagnostic Notes
Add the diagnostic notes and enable the toggle if you want to flag your note.
Additional Details
- All of your custom fields will be displayed in this section.
- Fill out the created custom fields
- Add additional note
Pre Repair Images
- Add pre repair images of the device either by using webcam functionality or directly uploading from the system.
Pre repair conditions checklist
- Fill up the checklist based on the device condition
After filling up the details, click on the save button. Clicking on the save button will add the line item to the ticket.
All sections displayed/available on the right side can be arranged according to your preference by drag and drop.
