How can I use PrintNode?

PrintNode is a hosted printing service which allows you to print any document in less than 5 seconds for just $5 per store location. As it is a managed cloud printing service, it spares you from the worry of maintaining software or servers. Additionally, all communication is SSL/ TSL encrypted, along with documents downloaded from your own servers, ensuring that the information never leaves your network and that your printing remains secure.
Steps to connect your printer with "PrintNode":
1. Download PrintNode desktop client from PrintNode website. To download the desktop client, please click on this link.
2. Once the PrintNode desktop application is installed on your computer, head to Settings >> Integrations >> PrintNode to generate PrintNode credentials via RepairDesk API. Enter the auto-generated login credentials on the PrintNode desktop client.
3. Once connected, you can disable the PrintNode integration by clicking on the Disable PrintNode button. Click on Sync Printers to synchronize your printers with PrintNode.
Sync Printers button will be enabled once you Enable Print Node.
4. When you click on the Sync Printers button you will be taken to another screen. From here you can Add Printers from PrintNode, Sync Printers from Desktop Client, Delete your PrintNode Account and set printer triggers. You can select what kind of receipt or labels you want a specific printer to print by clicking on the relevant checkbox.
4. If you want to edit the settings for a particular printer, click on Action and then click on Edit which will display Triggers for that specific printer. From this window, you can select whenever you check in repair or create an invoice RepairDesk should spill out one service receipt and ticket label automatically.
5. Click on Enable to activate a trigger. Click on Disable to deactivate an already enabled trigger. Finally, click on Save to implement changes.
6. After your account is successfully configured, please head to POS and create a sample ticket or an invoice to test cloud print speed.
Note: PrintNode is a paid service and it will work only if your account was upgraded to Stripe. Also if you are setting up PrintNode we would recommend you disable Google Cloud Print. If you need assistance in setting up PrintNode please email us at support@repairdesk.co

3. Trade-In Receipt:
With this trigger, you can set up so that you can print out a receipt with Trade-in information using PrintNode. You can also select a number of print outs once you enable this trigger.

4. Reconciliation Report On End Shift:
With this trigger, you can set up so that you can print out a receipt with the end of day information using PrintNode. You can also select a\number of print outs once you enable this trigger.
