How Can I Clock In/Out Using RepairDesk's Mobile App?

With RepairDesk's Employee Clock In/ Clock Out feature, your employees will get to clock in and clock via RepairDesk Mobile App. It is a fast and reliable time-keeping tool enabling you to compute how many hours did an employee worked. “Clock In/ Clock Out” functionality in RepairDesk's Mobile App enables you to synchronize data with our Web App.

How to Use Clock In/ Out Feature?


To log the time of your shift, go to the “Left Menu” from the dashboard and tap the “Clock In / Out” button.



You’ll be presented with the following screen.


Clock In

Step 1:  Select “User” from the drop-down.

Step 2: Hit the “Clock In” button. Voila, it is done.

You’ll be seeing the time of your Clock in.



Start Break

RepairDesk’s Mobile app allows you to record your break hours. To start Break, go to the “Left Menu” from the dashboard tap the “Clock In / Out” button.

Step 1: Select “User” from the drop-down and enter the valid “Acess Pin”.

Step 2: Hit the “Start Break” button. Now, a break is started and you’ll be seeing the tome you started the break.

Note: You must be clocked in to start the break.


End Break

To end Break, go to the “Left Menu” from the dashboard tap the “Clock In / Out” button, and simply follow the following steps:

Step 1: Select “User” from the drop-down and enter the valid “Acess Pin”.

Step 2:  Hit the “End Break” button.


Clock Out

To record the leaving time, go to the “Left Menu” from the dashboard tap the “Clock In / Out” button.

Step 1: Select “User” from the drop-down and enter the valid “Acess Pin”.

Step 2: Tap the “Clock Out” button. Voila, it is done.

Q. How to view the employee time-sheet?

A. Clock In/ Out data is synchronized with RepairDesk's Web App.

1. Login to RepairDesk and click on Settings Drop-down Menu.

2. From the Menu select Clock In/ Out.

3. From the pop-up screen, click on “View Timesheet” to view a record of when employees clocked in or out.

A. Yes, the data will be synced with RepairDesk’s Web app and iPad POS.

Q. How can I stop my employees from using the Clock In/Out feature?

A. Yes you can restrict your employee from using the Clock In/Out feature from both RepairDesk web and mobile app.

Simply log in to the RepairDesk web app > Go to “Store Settings” > Tap on the “Employee” section present in the left menu.

Click on “Manage Roles Permission” > Select Role >

         


Scroll the “Manage Role Permission” and uncheck the trigger in front of the “Clock_In_Out” module.

           

And save the changes by clicking on the “Save Changes” button present at the end of the screen. Resultantly your employees under the selected role will not see the "Clock In/Out" module on the web app.

To manually sync the settings with the mobile app. When your employee will log in to the mobile app or hit the “Sync Product & Settings (Manually)” present in the left menu. Your employee will no longer see the “Clock In/Out” in the left menu of the mobile app.
