Getting Started with RepairDesk (Mobile App)
We at RepairDesk are always working to enhance user experience. RepairDesk is proud to announce the launch of our new mobile app. It provides complete solution for technicians offering field repair services.
The app is beautiful, intuitive, fast, and allows anyone to run a “Sophisticated Repair Store On-the-Go” using their cellphone. Now you can serve customers better, and focus on growing your business, even when you're on the move!

1.0 Hardware and Software Requirements
RepairDesk mobile app is a hybrid/cross platform app, so it can be installed on Android or IOS devices. There are no limitations on IOS versions but this app will work on Android versions greater than or equal to 5.
2.0 Overview of Feature

2.2 Create or Edit Repair Ticket
You can create new tickets as well as edit already created repair tickets in this app.
2.3 Add Notes or Upload Pre/Post Repair Attachment
You can add diagnostic notes, internal notes, and mark pre/post conditions while creating, editing, or viewing the repair ticket.

2.4 Collect Customer's Signature Digitally
You can collect customer’s signatures before or after a repair is completed through RepairDesk Mobile App.
2.5 Create or Edit Invoice
You can create invoices as well as edit already existing invoices.
2.6 Add Payments
You can collect payments against invoices through various custom payment methods and cash that are set in a web app.
2.7 Email Invoice
You can email invoices to customers from the RepairDesk Mobile App.
2.8 Cloud-Based Syncing with Your Store
Go to the navigation bar --> click Sync Products and Settings (Manually).
2.9 Create new customers or use existing ones
You can add new customers on runtime while creating ticket or selling inventory items through RepairDesk Mobile App. You can also use existing customers while creating repair tickets or invoices.
2.10 Scan Ticket, Invoice and Inventory Item
You can manually search for a ticket or invoice in Mobile App but to save time RepairDesk Mobile app allows its user to open tickets or invoices just by scanning barcodes. You can also open inventory items in the mobile app just by scanning its barcode.
2.11 Add New Inventory Item, Casual item
User can add new inventory item while creating or editing ticket. Also user can create Inventory item while creating or editing invoice.
2.12 Add Device
You can add new device while creating new ticket.
On “Select Device” screen click on “Add” icon present at the top right corner 🡪 you’ll be redirected to “New Devices” 🡪 Here manufacturer will be auto selected but you can change Manufacturer by clicking on drop down.
Enter Device name in “Device” text area 🡪 Hit “Save” button. New Device will be added.
2.13 Add Repair Problem
Youcan add Repair Problem while creating or editing ticket.
2.14 Add New Repair Part
You can add Repair Part while creating or editing ticket.
From “Select Repair Part” Screen 🡪 click “Add” 🡪 you’ll be redirected to “New Item” screen 🡪 Enter required information 🡪 Hit "Save".
2.15 Switch Store Functionality
If multiple stores, you can easily switch between stores while staying in the app interface.
Toggle from left top corner → Store Name → Select required store from drop down
3.0 Downloading and Installing the App
3.1 Apple Device
1. On your device go to App store.
2. In the search bar enter RepairDesk.
3. App with Blue and white logo is what you need to install.
4. When prompted enter your Apple ID and password and then tap Get.
5. Once download is complete. The RepairDesk app will appear on the home screen.
6. Tap the app icon to open "RepairDesk Mobile App". On login screen enter your Username and Password registered with RepairDesk. Tap "Login" and you are ready to use the app.
Note: You must enter the same credentials with which you are registered on the RepaiDesk website.
3.2 Android Device
1. On your android device go to Google Play store.
2. In the search bar enter RepairDesk.
3. App with Blue and white logo is what you need to install.
4. Once download is complete. Tap "Open"
5. You will be presented with a login screen.
6. Enter your Username and Password registered with RepairDesk.
7. Tap Login and you are ready to use the app.
Note: You must enter the same credentials with which you are registered on the RepaiDesk website.
Note: App flow is same for IOS and Android.
4.0 Setting up the App
Once you are logged in, you’ll be presented with a user Dashboard.
The first step is to synchronize your RepairDesk account with the RepairDesk web app.
Note: After the synchronization is successful, you will get all your data loaded from RepairDesk web account to RepairDesk Mobile App.
5.0 Left Menu
You can go to the main menu by hitting the toggle button in the upper left corner of the Mobile app. Following action can be performed from left menu:
Switch store as explained in Switch Store Functionality.
By hitting Dashboard you will be redirected to the dashboard screen (if you are not on dashboard screen already).
Sync Products & settings Manually as explained in Setting Up the App.
Logout.
