  1. Restrict any activity in Repair Desk unless employee clocks in first

    There should be a setting that gives us the ability to restrict any activity by an employee unless that employee has clocked in first. In the same aspect that you can not take a payment unless you have clicked "start shift" and entered your starting cash totals for the day.

  2. Default Due Dates & Time For Repairs Per Service

    As most people do we have certain time frames for different repairs. Would be nice if we could configure the default due date for each repair service rather than one global default due date.

  4. Allowing customer the option to decline estimates

    Our estimates are not always approved. It would be nice to have an option for our customers to decline the estimates themselves, rather than having to email us directly and have us go in and cancel the estimate manually.

  5. Allow multiple product images / have a button to take photo / have default images

    It would be useful to be able to add multiple photos for Trade In items to show the condition of the devices. This would be great for syncing to woo commerce.

    Expanding on this idea, the ability to TAKE photo from the product page (by webcam or iPad) and add at the same time, rather than having to take a photo, upload it to the computer, then upload it to the product page.

    The option to have a default image based on the Make/Model/Colour would be useful too so the woo commerce sync to the website keep it looking professional…

  7. Ability to adjust the repair on a ticket after running pre checks

    Many times we are doing post checks and notice a charge port issue, battery, camera and so on. If we go back a step to add another service, the customer will have to wait even longer because we have to restart the whole process. Sometimes by now we have all the fields filed and we just have to explain to the customer. “We can’t adjust this for you now but go ahead and sign anyway, I’ll go back into the ticket and add these other items you agreed to after we make the ticket”. Now it’s a whole process that…

    Hi Usman

    The POS is basically a cash register so it should work in the same format
    1. Select manufacturer,model repair part...
    After pressing next, the part should show in the register
    Then either select another part and press next (this should also show in the register) or have another button as well as next like "complete or confirm. It has also been mentioned that repair parts and accessories are merged. You need to be able to add another part from the same screen
    2. Once you get to checkout it gives a list of print types which opens another…

  10. Date field, next to customer signature on Tax Invoice

    I currently get my customers to sign a copy of the tax invoice which I file away, to say the have picked up their unit (doesn't matter fixed or not fixed)

    This is just incase they want to dispute a collection. But there is no date, to verify, the collection.

    A simple date field would help, next to the signature field.

    at the moment if there already there is a lead for a customer in POS you need to add customer details again at it never hint you that the customer has lead in system!

  13. Be able to mark leads as won without creating ticket

    Sometimes when we have a lead, when the customer comes in we don't always convert the lead into a ticket. So would be great to be able to mark a lead as won, but not create a ticket. Maybe when you select won on the lead a popup comes up asking if you want to convert ticket with a yes/no option.

  14. Remove Due date from Receipt and Invoice

    When a customer comes in the first thing they ask is "How Long"

    Because of this there is no need to print the date and time due on the ticket. When the customer calls in to COLLECT the phone they get the invoice so there is definately no need to print it there either.
    This means that you can use the "Description" box to highlight notes. Also when the customer brings the device back under warranty and has to produce the invoice, there is more detail showing without having to lookup the details

    Rather than standard sequential ordering, it would be more efficient to list REPAIRS, ACCESSORIES . . . by highest order frequency to minimize use of SEARCH function.

  16. Automatic Two-Way Google Contact Sync

    Let the software push new customers to Google Contacts. Contacts created in Google Contacts should automatically show up in Repair Desk. A contact that is deleted in either place should automatically be deleted in the other place. This is already used by companies such as Timely. It would be a useful way to sync contacts to an email marketing program. It would be useful because then new customers in RepairDesk will show up with their name on my caller ID! As soon as someone calls, I can add their name on my phone, and already have the customer record started…

  17. add an extra level of nesting

    We have more than 5 suppliers of LCD for each model of iphone.

    We could do with a "folder" as such so that when we select the "Part" we can take one from a specific manufacturer in the inventory. As LCD replacement is probably the most used repair, having 10 or more "LCD's" showing in the parts section is messy

  18. Add some functionality to the calender book in widget

    The calendar book in widget needs some updates, currently it does not store the customers address when they book, does not offer the ability to enter a mobile number which means the sms api will not send a message to the customer confirming their booking.

    my business is fully mobile so these features would make a huge difference for us

  19. Bill to account for corporate customers

    I have several colleges and business that require that i bill their accounts payable department to get paid. wold be nice to if you could set up bill to accounts that you can apply payments to. i.e. business has a laptop repaired you can biil them and the invoice goes to their account so the parts are out of inventory. them payments can be applied to the bill to account

  20. Being to create a ticket, that doesn't sent the notification, while the other ones do

    We need to create tickets for customers we can personally use. After that we want to create a different ticket for the customer that does sent the notification. But now it is just on or off. Hope you can make that work for us!
