Sync with Magento website
RepairDesk has all the data capabilities neccesary to sync with Magento (picture, description, SKU, qty in stock etc).
It would be great if your products could sync with your Magento site, similar to a Quickbooks > Magento sync etc.
That way you could have your products show up on your online store and control stock from what is in RepairDesk.4 votes -
Re Number Inventory
AS a part is added to inventory it generates and item ID.
I need to be able to change that ID No. This is so when I add parts I can put them within a range that I set for each device. It would also be nice if when I am editing inventory item it remembers the page I am on so I dont have to do a search every time

Floor pricing or maximum Discount
I would like to be able to set the maximum discount that can be given by my employees. Either per item or by item group. For example 25% on accessories, $10 on screens/parts. Currently if the employee has access to discount they can discount to zero.

Update Public API article to list all default values for parameters for better documentation
For example,
Additional parameter (filters)
1: pagesize: number of invoice per request (What's the default value?)
2: page: for pagination like page 1,2 3 etc. default is page 0 (Good)

Buy back widget
I've got a proposed change that I think would be very useful.
Wanted to see if others thought the same.When getting a price and you've gone through and chosen Mode>make>colour>GB you get the option to choose condition.
At the moment we can show one price for each condition e.g. Like new $400, Used $300, Damaged $100.What I would find very useful is one extra step in which a customer can tick options of what problems the phone has.
For example a damaged phone could be anywhere from a button working intermittently to Broken LCD, short battery life &…

Asset Module Implementation
I would like to see an asset manager module that allows for us to record serial number and imei numbers on devices. Within this module it would also be very useful to see a log of repairs by device so that we can track the repair history and ownership details by device. This is especially helpful when tracking warranty claims and device repair history.

Display descriptions of Repairs in POS screen
I think the descriptions of the Repair should be displayed at the POS screen so the person to make the booking will understand the issues and thus the cost to explain to customer.
At the moment the description of the repair will show on the invoice which is not useful to my opinion. The decsriptions for the repair should be a short explaination about the repair so it can be read by the staff who may not be the technician.4 votes -

Make double clicking on saved labels actually open the label you are double clicking.
In your latest version of DYMO labels, when I try to open a saved label in the drop-down list of saved labels, the software will not open the label I am double clicking on. :-( In order to open the label, I have to use the File menu and open the saved label from the menu; your instructions plainly state to double-click on one of the labels to open it; that does not work; or is it just me?

Invest in making the system quicker
Recently I have noticed longer page loading times and lag when performing routine daily tasks. It was never amazing but now it is frustratingly noticeable, especially when there are no shortcuts or easy navigation through the system (for example from ticket direct to item)
The Trade In page can take 10-20 seconds to load.
The POS can lag for 10-15 seconds when adding checking in devices.4 votes -

Custom Item(s)
I recommend allowing a custom item to be made on POS. This'll allow for non-inventory items to be placed without having it added to inventory.
So for example, Huawei phones are something my stores do not stock/track. This'll allow us to make a ticket and assign a "special part" without being in our inventory for tracking. This allows us to enter the Phone description, model, pricing, and any discounts (if applicable)

Inventory count for trade in
I was trying to make sure that all my trade in stock is physically matched in the system. So that if ever im going to check my stock in the system then i can make sure that they are all physicall available and avoid errors. Thanks

Add IMEI BEFORE CHECK OUT
some time we can't test mobile or add the Imei number , it will be nice if we can add it from POS before check out.

Being able to add purchase orders with excel
I would like to have the ability to input information faster on a purchase order, since suppliers that are not integrated with repair desk, their purchase orders have to be entered manually and price for parts needs to be verified every time.

Hide closed ticket by default
When going to "Manage Tickets", it would be nice if the tickets could already be in created order with closed tickets already hidden. As i find myself doing this every almost everytime i open this screen.

Portable Bluetooth thermal printer
Im a mobile guy and i do not have a thermal printer to carry around that i can print receipts off with. i do not know if its already done or anything but i think having the option to have that for the mobile techs will be awesome.
