  1. Combine buyback Devices data with "All Devices"

    I just started looking into trade in device widget.. and I basically have to set up every device again. Why not combine the two? Colors is already an option on https://app.repairdesk.co/index.php?r=devices/index listings. Along with the checkboxes for "on POS" and "show on widgets" you could add "show on buybacks" and then ask for size, condition, etc rather than having it in 2 different places.

  4. Display descriptions of Repairs in POS screen

    I think the descriptions of the Repair should be displayed at the POS screen so the person to make the booking will understand the issues and thus the cost to explain to customer.
    At the moment the description of the repair will show on the invoice which is not useful to my opinion. The decsriptions for the repair should be a short explaination about the repair so it can be read by the staff who may not be the technician.

  6. Two way google calendar Sync

    It is important to be able to have in real time the availability of each technician, at the same time see if there is any way that when the repair is completed, an update is made in the calendar leaving that time available, many cases that the repairs end before promised time and google that time is not available.

    I’d like to be able to go to a particular item and see a detailed analysis of its history.
    All sales
    All tickets currently allocated
    All customers who have purchased it
    All replacements under warranty
    Overall cost of remaining stock
    Overall profit generated on the item
    Average cost of the item based on all the purchase order prices of stock which remains

  8. code for first name in canned responses

    Currently all emails and texts say Hi First Name Last Name - it is less personal than having just the first name. It also saves characters in SMS.

    I also would like to have the {device} code just show the name of the device, rather than the full device AND what it is having repaired - it just looks silly having "Your iPhone 6 iPhone 6 battery iPhone 6 screen has been repaired"

  9. Easier navigation through system

    On each page there should be back and forward arrows through items, customers, invoices, etc.
    If I have to make changes to each item (or just view a list of items/invoices/customers), I currently have to open the item, make the change, save it, go back and find the next item, repeat.
    If there were previous and next arrows between the chosen products/invoices/customers etc it would simplify things.

    There should be links to the item page from invoices, tickets and repair bundles.
    - So if I notice an error (price, spelling etc) I can simply click on the item to open…

  10. Custom fields for Inventory items

    I have several different suppliers who use different codes - being able to add new fields to an item to store this info would be handy.

    I have my own SKU on all my items, so these need added.

    I also need this to add the storage location of parts and items.
    For example:
    In shop one the iPhone 6 wifi flex may be in cabinet 1, drawer 5, section 3 (so a custom field with 1.5.3 is required)
    In shop two that part might be in cabinet 2, drawer 19, section 4, so 2.19.4

    Another field for exclusions such…

  11. Add search by partial matching

    When searching for items / customers / anything.

    If the search engine was able to search parts of words from any part of the item, customer name etc.

    For example:
    iPhone 5 Display - Black - OEM
    - Currently I have to type part of the full phrase exactly as it is, from the start, to find it.
    On my old system I could type a few letters of key words:
    - iPh 5 oem bla
    - OR: OEM Iphone (to find all iPhone OEM screens)

  12. Add a search bar to the POS page.

    Add a search bar to the POS. This could help find specific repairs more quickly or help someone find an appropriate trade-in device according to the device brand or cellular carrier needs of the customer, or lots of other things.

    It will be very important if the RD handles reminders, set important details about the reminder, including which customer (optional), which tech should follow up, and when the reminder will pop up on the screen (it's due date).

    We could have the option of receiving leads from an email to an email address that we use for these purposes, then this lead arrives at the lead module and we can convert it into a ticket or estimate, in the same way to block the entry of certain emails and mark it as spam. In this way we can receive work orders in a simple way without the need for a wiget or very elaborate form which saves development time for both you and us.

  19. iPad Deposits

    Their should be a button on the iOS Tablet that can take a deposit for phone/tablet part that isn't in the inventory. Its a more complicated to first put the part in the inventory and then having to take the deposit for the part. This will help technicians that are mobile and that are using the iOS Tablet for tickets.

  20. Offers/ deals tap in the POS /Appointment wedget

    I always offer a $10 OFF with any repair on the accessories or screen protectors. and that always help my business to create more revenue.

    I wish that we have a html tap (that can be disabled) after the customer/ employee choose the repair in the POS/ Booking widget to include some offers like add screen protector or buy a cell phone case.
