Discount or coupon code
When adding discounts, it would be extremely helpful to be able to track the referrer by using a discount code and then be able to run report on the number of discount codes received and total value sold. This allows for tracking the best referral sources.

This would be extremely useful.What has happened to this? I agree with Mario too. Even though you can do this through add note. It would be useful to have this option.

I'm still waiting on this. At least add rason for discount. That way we can track the discounts and why they were given. Ex: Damaged, used, sale, coupon... etc

This is a good way to track the referrals or advertising channels to see which one is more effective, so we can put more money into them. Very similar to shopping cart systems where we can generate coupons codes to use 1 or multiple times and then keep tracks of what are used or not.
