    This would be good as a "Boneyard Style" set up. Once a device is "scrapped for parts" you could complete a checklist with parts reusable. This would then go into a Boneyard section, where you could use the reusable parts as an inventory item. After it's used it would be deleted/grayed out on the checklist and noted with the ticket number it was used it.
