searching for a ticket item (parts) using item barcode
inside the ticket, when iu add a ticket item against a certain repair, you have to search for the item or enter its sku, it would be great if a barcode option is added so you can scan the barcode of a certain part instead of typing its name, many items especially small parts doesn't have sku

A WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editor for invoices, tickets, Receipts, etc...
Every phone store has his own design for their invoices, tickets, etc.. So there should be a WSYIWYG Editor for them, so that every store can add the things they needed for a proper invoice.

Change Device Location after intake
Be able to change the physical location of a device under the ticket screen. Handy as some devices need to be kept whilst waiting for parts or repair and would like to be able to add a location or change it during the repair.
3 votesYou can certainly change physical location from ticket screen.
You can go to “Action” of line item, click on “Pre/Post Conditions & Comments”. A popup opens that allow you to update “Physical Location” of device.
Once you update it, click on “Ssve” and update the ticket.

Accesories, Parts and Mobile needs Saperated from POS
Hi Usman,
In repair desk under accessories we get a merged list of accessories, parts and mobile which needs to be separated into three 1) Accessories 2) Parts and 3) Mobile and accessories should go under accessories, parts under parts and so on. Moreover, in search bar it searches the product only by name there is no other option of searching the devise by brand name or devise name.

Import/export support for serialized items
When exporting/importing your inventory using excel, serialized items are not included, it would be really good if you could edit serialized items through excel too! because right now incrementing quantity, then adding serialized item takes quite a while.
maybe the excel sheet could have a column for parentItemNo which links the child/serialized item with that parent
3 votesWe have introduced an option to export the serials. You can also import the serials separately based on the value of the stock.
You can go to the modern UI of the inventory item to use this feature.

Tax Exempt Customer
Be able to have customer tax Exempt. I have several government and school contracts. Every time I do the ticket I have to change the sales tax for each item. It would be awesome to just have the customer always tax exempted so it automatically does it

You can now select the “Tax Exempt” class while creating a customer to charge no tax on all the transactions of that specific customer. -

Option to show "Price" as inclusive of tax in POS
Within the POS, once you add a product to a new sale, it shows price as tax excluding.
So for example if the product price is $20, it will show up as $18.18
I believe staff may get confused when discounting a product as they need to work out the price without tax and may accidentally put in the wrong price as they are not used to dealing with pre tax figures.My suggestion would be to have the option to show this in inclusive of tax figures if it is necessary for your individual store.

Make Serial/imei number and passcode a mandatory fielt in the POS
Since my technician like to forget to enter the serial number/ imli number and the passcode when they make a ticket/invoice in the POS System, it would be good, if this two fields would be a mandatory field.
And that the tickets is automatically unassigned and that the person who creates the tickets has to assign it to a certain person.3 votesWe have added triggers through which you can control employees to add IMEI and serial while creating a ticket.

Syncing the calendar with outlook calendar and Google calendar
I suggest to sync the calendar to outlook and Google calendar to be linked with calendar app on the smartphone of the employees.

SMS Campaign
we need to add "Automated Followup SMS Campaign" in Campaigner section to be able to send sms and ask customers about their experince with our service and also send the social media links(facebok, google bussiness page, yelp,..) to let them write their reivews.
3 votesOur “Campaigner” module allows to set up custom campaigns to send follow up email and SMS to the customer based on certain criteria’s. You can also use default campaigns and setup according to your requirements.
Please note that RepairDesk doesn’t offer SMS services. You need to integrate with a suitable third-party provider available in integrations of RepairDesk.

Leave POS categories out of website widget
Have the ability to leave out certain categories from the POS side when using the integrated website widget.
For ex:
I have computer parts, services, etc in the POS for our employees to use. I do not, however, want customers to have to go through everything in our POS system to find what they need. I just want customers to see phone and tablet repairs on the website instead of all of "our" categories.

Hi Jeff,
You can use “Pre / Post Device Condiion” functionality to record diagnostic info of the device. You can also add comments section on tickets to enter all the details.

Terms and Conditions with Signature on separate Page
I would like to have Ts & Cs with the Signature on a separate page that will be linked to the entering Invoice, which I can load it on my iPad in front of counter where customers can review the Ts & Cs then Sign.
There will be a button for them to Touch and the signature will then be added into the entering Invoice. The existing function I don't really know how to utilize it! Should I turn the monitor and pass the mouse to customer for them to see all details on my screen?

Manage Repair Ticket Via POS
There should be a feature that allows you to open repair ticket from POS (kiosk mode), add accessories and complete the transaction by adding payment which in turns update invoice and ticket status as "Repair & Collected"
Also admin can search repair ticket via ticket ID, IMEI, customer name or drop off date.
