    lets say i would like to tell the customer the following:

    Hi
    After diagnosing your device, the repair in a bit more complicated that it seems.
    we need to perform a chip replacement that involves risks.
    the chip replacement procedure costs 200$, we need your approval in order to proceed with the repair.

    and then the customer responds :

    you can proceed with the repair.

    the customer and the tech person who is incharge of the ticket can communicate with messages and replies.
