Sounds like a great idea. We’ve started working on customer portal where customer can track repair status and approve work orders as well. I will keep you posted with the progress

lets say i would like to tell the customer the following:
Hi
After diagnosing your device, the repair in a bit more complicated that it seems.
we need to perform a chip replacement that involves risks.
the chip replacement procedure costs 200$, we need your approval in order to proceed with the repair.
