Open Cash Drawer Button
The cash drawer is connected to the receipt printer. In other POS you can trigger a small printout to trigger a till open. As it stands we need to print a full receipt to open it. It needs to be opened more often for change, etc.
The button could be added to the POS page or run with a keyboard shortcut.

We use Star Micro TSP100III's and have to use the Star Software to Pop the Drawer Problem is there is no employee record of the drawer being open and can lead to easy theft. There needs to be a quick option on RD POS to pop the drawer (with a mandatory reason) logging the Employee who opened it. No receipt has to be printed, just a simply code sent from PrintNode to the Star Driver.

If you are working with an Epson printer, I may know of a solution that might help you. I put it to use in my own businesses. It's a simple script and some software that lets you use a hotkey to open a till. https://funnyshooter2.com

This feature is definitely needed! It should also log on the backend when the open drawer was pressed and by who.
