In RepairDesk, a Device represents an electronic item that the customer brings to your store for a repair. By default, RepairDesk provides you with over 300 Devices that you can use to create Repair tickets. You can always add new Devices to RepairDesk.
Remember that in RepairDesk, a Device is different from an Inventory item (also called “Product”). A Product is a physical entity that your store owns, resides in your store’s stock, and can be sold to the customers. To learn more about Products, click here.
