Adding an inventory item to a ticket
When you are on the new ticket page, you will be able to add inventory items to the ticket by following the steps below:
Either Click on the Add New button and choose Items from the dropdown.Upon selecting Items option, you will be shown a advanced search popup where you can select the inventory item.
Click on the cart icon against the item that you wish to add it in the ticket.
If you want to remove the item, click on the cross icon within the tag to remove it.
You can also see the details of inventory item in the billing section.

Q. Can I Add Miscellaneous Items in the New Ticket UI?
Ans: Yes, you can add miscellaneous (misc) items in the new ticket UI through the advanced search popup. Here’s how:

Open the Advanced Search popup and select the Miscellaneous option from the dropdown, alongside Products, Trade-ins, and Parts.

The system will display a list of all available misc items.

To add a misc item to the ticket, click the Cart icon next to the item.

The misc item will be added to the billing section of the ticket.

You can view and manage the added misc items in the billing section just like other inventory items.
Q. Can I Add a New Inventory Item in the New Ticket UI?
Ans: Yes, you can add a new inventory item using the new ticket UI through the advanced search popup. Here’s how:
- Open the Advanced Search popup.
- Click on the Add New option.
- You’ll see two options:
- Item
- Special Order
- Select Item to open the Inventory item drawer.
- Fill in all the relevant details for the new item and click on the save button.
After clicking the Save button in the drawer, the newly added inventory item will be added to the inventory and will also appear in the inventory section.
Q. Can I update inventory stock levels directly from the new ticket UI?Ans: Yes, you can now update inventory stock levels directly from the new ticket UI using the advanced search popup. This feature allows you to quickly adjust stock without leaving the ticket details page. Here’s how:
- In the advanced search popup, locate the item for which you want to update the stock.
- Click on the three dots menu next to the item and select the Update Stock option.
- Alternatively, you can click on the stock quantity displayed in the stock column to open the stock adjustment popup.
- If you try to add an out-of-stock item by clicking the cart icon, an alert will prompt you to update the stock.
- Click Yes, Update Stock to open the adjustment popup and update stock levels.
- Click Cancel to close the popup and return to the advanced search.
- Once stock levels are updated, you will be able to add those inventory items within the ticket.
