How to add a new repair line item to an existing ticket
When you are on the new ticket page, you will be able to add new services, estimates, or items by following the steps below:
Click on the Add New button & select the Service option to add a new service.Upon selecting Add Service option, you will be shown a drawer to search and select the repair category first.
- Search for repair parts using the search bar (try to search by barcode, name, item ID, serial, SKU, or UPC).
- The selected part will be displayed in the listing and you can edit or delete those part by clicking on the three dots dropdown menu.
- To add new repair or special part, click on the Add Part button, which will display two options: Add Part and Add Special Part.

Q. How can I update a device in the new ticket UI?
Ans: Previously in old UI, there was no option to update the added device if you mistakenly selected the wrong one while booking a repair job.
To update the device, click the edit icon next to the device name in the ticket details page.
This will open the device selection drawer. Select a new device and choose the required service(s) from the service drawer. Once done, click the Save button to save the changes.
Note: Please note that you can only update the device if the ticket is in open state and there are no invoices or estimates associated with it.
Q. Can I add new manufacturers and devices using the new ticket UI?
Ans: Yes, the new Ticket UI allows you to add new manufacturers and devices directly from the ticket interface. This makes the ticket creation process simple and allows you to add new manufacturers & devices without leaving the page.

To add a new manufacturer:
- Click on the Add Manufacturer option in the service drawer.
- Fill in the required details and upload a manufacturer image (JPG, JPEG, PNG, or GIF, max size: 2MB) if required.
- After saving, the newly added manufacturer will appear at the top of the list and be mapped to the selected repair category.

- After selecting a manufacturer, click on the Add Device button from next drawer.
- Fill in the required details and upload a device image (JPG, JPEG, PNG, or GIF, max size: 2MB) if required.
- After saving, the newly added device will appear at the top of the list and be mapped to the selected repair category and manufacturer.
