Enabling Desktop Notification

Desktop notifications not showing in Connect.

Reason 1 :Notifications are not permitted in browser

To give permissions to Repairdesk for notifications.
  1. Navigate to Repairdesk homepage

2. Click on the “lock” icon


3. Turn on the notifications setting using the toggle

Reason 2: Notification not enabled in “Flags” in Chrome

  1. Go to chrome://flags/#enable-native-notification
  2. Look for “Enable system notification” option

3. Change the option from “Disabled” to “enabled”
4. Relaunch Chrome

Reason 3: Notification not allowed in system setting of your Mac

  1. Open “System setting” by clicking on the Apple icon>system settings.
  2. Click on “Notifications” setting

3. Click on “Google Chrome” or any browser that you are using
4. Enable the notification
