The RepairDesk Payments Android app powers the RD Pay experience on NexGo wireless terminals, allowing merchants to process secure card transactions directly from RepairDesk. Once connected, the app communicates seamlessly between your RepairDesk POS and the NexGo wireless terminal, ensuring faster checkouts, smoother payments, and real-time status updates.
This article explains how to set up the RepairDesk Android app, pair your terminal, and start accepting payments.
Open the RD App on the terminal; the app will display an 8-digit pairing token.
On your RepairDesk web account, go to Integrations → Payments → RepairDesk Payments.
Open the Terminal Setup tab and click Add Terminal.
Enter the 8-digit token from your NexGo terminal.
Give your terminal a name (e.g., “Front Counter”) and click Add.
The terminal will now appear in your list with its connection status (Connected/Disconnected).
Once your terminal is paired, you’re ready to start accepting payments.
On the RepairDesk POS, add a Service or Product and click Checkout.
Select RepairDesk Pay as the payment method.
If you have enabled the Display Terms & Conditions option, they will be displayed on the terminal.
The customer can then accept and Add Signature.
If you have enabled Tipping, the preset options will appear on the terminal screen.
The total amount will automatically update on the terminal screen based on the selected Tip Amount.
The customer can complete the transaction by tapping, inserting, or swiping their card.
If your store uses multiple NexGo terminals, add each one by repeating the pairing steps above.
You can set a default terminal or map terminals to specific cash registers for convenience.
Alternatively, choose which terminal to use directly on the POS during checkout.
