FAQ:

Can I create an estimate for the labor category?

Yes you can!
Mark a repair category as billable by Store Settings > Manage Repair Categories > Mark as labor/ billable hours category.

Select your desired billable category, choose the number of hours in quantity and the total will populate accordingly.

Q. Where can I view the Estimate Due Date in RepairDesk?

You can now view the Estimate Due Date directly on the Estimate View Page, under the Estimate Summary section—no need to enter edit mode.

Q. Can I include the due date on printed or PDF estimates?

Yes, head over to 9 dots > Store Settings > Module Configurations > Template Editor

Tap Action > Edit for:

  • Estimate A4 Template or/and
  • Estimate Thermal Receipt Template

Add the due date macro {{due_date}} and tap Save

If you’ve turned on the "Hide Due Date" trigger in Module Configuration > Estimates, the due date will not appear on the A4 Template—even if the macro is used.

Q. Can I hide item SKUs from my Estimate templates?

Yes! Some merchants prefer not to disclose SKU details to customers for internal tracking or pricing confidentiality. This option gives you full control over that.

Go to Module Configuration > Estimates > Hide SKU from Estimate Template

Once enabled, item SKUs will be hidden from:

  • Printed A4 and Thermal Receipt Estimates
  • Exported Estimate PDFs
  • Estimate PDFs sent via email

Once enabled, it will apply to all existing and new estimates when printed or exported.
