Inventory Aging Report

Overview

The Inventory Aging Report helps you understand how long items have been sitting in your inventory. It shows when an item was last sold and how many days it has been since that sale.
This makes it easy to identify slow-moving or inactive items without checking each product manually.

With the Inventory Aging Report, you can:

Key Columns in Inventory Aging Report

Last Sold Date

  • Shows the most recent date when the item was sold
  • The system checks all sales invoices and picks the latest sale date
  • If the item has never been sold, it will show “–”
  • If a sale was fully refunded, it will be ignored, and the previous valid sale will be considered

Days Since Last Sold

  • Shows the number of days since the item was last sold

  • Calculated as:

    Current Date – Last Sold Date

  • Updates automatically every day

  • If the item has never been sold, it will show “–”

How to Access the Inventory Aging Report

  1. Go to Reports
  2. Click on Inventory Aging Report

Default Columns in the Report

The Inventory Aging Report includes the following columns by default:

  • Store
  • SKU
  • Product Name
  • Category
  • Brand
  • On Hand
  • Average Cost Price
  • Inventory Value
  • Last Sold Date
  • Days Since Last Sold

You can customize these columns anytime using the Data Columns option.

How to Use Filters

Filter by Last Sold Date

You can filter items based on when they were last sold.

  • Select Last Sold Date from the filter options
  • Apply a date range (e.g., last 30 days)
  • View only items sold within that period

Filter by Days Since Last Sold

You can filter items based on how long they have not been sold.

  • Select Days Since Last Sold from filters
  • Choose condition:
    • Greater than (>)
    • Less than (<)
    • Between (range)

Example:

  • Show items not sold in the last 30 days
  • Show items not sold between 30–60 days
