Editing Inventory Label Template

RepairDesk's template editor also allows you to customize inventory labels. Pick from a variety of available tags and choose which information to display or hide on your inventory labels.

Steps:

1. Go to Store Settings > Inventory > Inventory Configuration

2. Select your inventory label design:





3. Now head toward the Template Editor to add tags and decide which fields to include on your inventory labels.

Note: If you select the Professional design, barcode type should be Code 128.
Inventory barcode label size will default to 27Ă—88 mm. Changing it from Label Size settings will not affect this.


4. Open Template Editor by: Store Settings > Customization > Template Editor


5. Among templates for invoices, estimates, and ticket labels, find the Inventory Label Template.


6. Click the Action button. Choose Preview to see how it looks, or Edit to customize the template.





7. On clicking Edit, you'll be taken to the Edit Page. You can add or remove tags under the Available Tags section, which will fetch live data from RepairDesk.

8. This template customization is based on the label selected from Store Settings > Inventory > Inventory Configuration

9. Once done, click on the Save button to apply your changes.

You can now fully customize recurring billing email templates for successful and failed card payments—both for admins and customers.

There are around 50 available tags that can fulfill nearly all business needs. We hope you find them helpful!
