In the Module Configurations, you can: Enable/Disable specific order details (e.g., total amount, price, tax, and discounts).

Choose when CFD is displayed:

  • Repair Ticket Creation: Customers review the details and provide a pre-repair signature.
  • Checkout: Customers sign the post-repair approval before finalizing the payment.
  • Trade-in Purchase: Customers sign off before purchasing a pre-owned device.
  • Refunds: Customers must provide a signature before receiving a refund.
  • Bill Payments: Customers sign off when purchasing a mobile bill plan.

You can also:

  • Upload a promotional slideshow to display marketing banners.
  • Define store Terms & Conditions for different transaction types.
  • Click “Save Changes” to apply configurations.

CFD appears automatically based on the transaction type:

  1. Repair Ticket: Creation: Displays repair details in real-time and captures the customer’s signature for approval before starting the repair.
  2. Checkout: Customers sign the Post-Repair Terms & Conditions before completing payment.
  3. Trade-in Purchase: Captures a customer’s signature before finalizing the trade-in purchase.
  4. Refunds: Displays refund details and requires a customer signature before processing.

Can customers check in themselves using CFD?

Yes! The Self-Check-In feature allows customers to enter their details directly on the Customer Facing Display screen.

Navigate to Store Settings → Customer Facing Display → Self-Check-In Configuration.

Can CFD be used on the iPad POS Register App?

Yes, CFD is compatible with the iPad POS Register App. However, the Self-Check-In feature is not currently available on the iPad app. Future updates may include this option.

How do I reset the CFD terminal?

If you need to change settings for GDPR compliance or trade-ins, follow these steps:

  1. Reset the CFD terminal by closing all open tabs.
  2. Make the necessary changes in CFD Module Configurations.
  3. Save the new settings.
  4. Reopen all tabs and continue using CFD.

Can I make customer signatures mandatory?
Yes! Go to Integrations > Customer Facing Display > Module Configurations > Settings and tap Yes on the radio button to “Disable the ‘Proceed Anyway’ option” to require customer signatures before proceeding.
